I AM VIOLA CHEN
I am a 2020 University graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Animation from the SAE Creative Media Institute, and have professional experience in graphic design from volunteer, internship and traineeship opportunities.

Prior to beginning my University Degree, I graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Visual Art and Design Technology from the Queensland Academy for Creative Industry.

MY ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT
I started my creative journey with a background in Traditional art-making that frequently referenced Pop and Contemporary artists, which later slowly evolved into digital media.

Currently, I work with digital media and create social media content, printed marketing materials, physical signages and wearable merchandise.
MY SKILLS
I have extended experience working with Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effect.

To partner with my technical skill sets, I have a solid background in design principles and an understanding of marketing strategies from my time as an event organisation trainee at the Multicultural Community Centre.
MY CAREER INTERESTS
Currently, I am exploring the many different opportunities that different creative and non-creative roles can provide.

In my professional journey so far, I have worked mostly with the marketing sector with some experiences in content creation for puzzle and simulation-based video games.
